Our Purpose
My father had been a quadriplegic for all of my adult life, a reality that shaped our family in profound ways. About 21 years ago, following the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our mother, the responsibility of caring for our father fell to my siblings and me. From that moment on, we came together as a family, united in love and commitment, to provide him with the care and support he needed. Over the years, we navigated countless challenges, ensuring his comfort and well-being, and by all accounts, he became one of the longest-living quadriplegics—a testament to both his resilience and our dedication. Tragically, that long and courageous journey came to an abrupt and devastating end at the hands of a medical team we trusted. During what was supposed to be a routine hospital stay—ironically, on the very day he was being prepared for discharge and transfer to a rehabilitation facility—our father passed away under circumstances that remain deeply troubling. Procedures meant to protect and preserve his life inexplicably led to its end, leaving us with unanswered questions and an unimaginable sense of loss.
Our Passion
This heartbreaking tragedy became the catalyst for a mission that is now deeply personal and profoundly urgent. In response to the loss of our beloved father under preventable and questionable medical circumstances, I was moved to establish a non-profit organization called GREATER WORKS TODAY, with a central initiative entitled ONE Voice for the Elderly. The purpose of this organization is to advocate for those who often go unheard—the aging and vulnerable individuals who rely on healthcare systems, caregivers, and institutions to act in their best interest. We believe wholeheartedly that our family is not alone in experiencing a tragedy of this magnitude, and that far too many elderly individuals suffer in silence, often without anyone to stand up for them. ONE Voice for the Elderly exists to be that voice—to raise awareness, push for accountability, and ensure that the dignity, safety, and lives of our elders are protected. Through outreach, education, advocacy, and systemic change, we are committed to turning our grief into action and our loss into purpose, so that others may never have to endure what we did.

Our Promise
With God’s help, the Greater Works Today organization is fully committed to standing with you and for you. Together, we can create meaningful change that impacts generations to come.
Thank you in advance for your support and for being a part of our Greater Work!
